Hello, Flower Valley Frogs!

Our first B meet of the season is this coming Wednesday, June 17th!

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOUR FROG IS SWIMMING IN THIS MEET BY GOING INTO SWIMTOPIA AND DECLARING YOUR FROG'S PARTICIPATION, AS WELL AS THE EVENTS THAT YOUR FROG WILL SWIM. Declarations of participation close Monday night at 11:30pm. After this, no changes to the meet can be made. Please keep in mind that during each week, swimmers may only swim three individual events and IM between the A meet and B meet of that week.

Location - Wednesday's B meet is at Robin Hood Pool, 225 Mowbray Rd., Silver Spring, MD 20904. The parking lot is small and fills quickly, so additional parking is available at Westover Elementary School, 401 Hawkesbury Lane, at the corner of Hawkesbury Land and Locksley Lane. When walking to the pool from here, cross Locksley Lane and follow the walking path straight to the pool. It is a 2-minute walk.

Time - Please arrive by 5pm. Flower Valley warm-ups are at 5:20-5:40pm. The meet begins at 6pm.

Meetings - Officials meeting, 5:30pm at the diving well

Timers meeting, 5:40pm at the diving well

Food and Concessions - Pizza, snacks, candy, and drinks will be sold. Cash and Venmo are accepted. Hospitality will be available for volunteers at halftime in the pavilion. 

Team Area -Our designated area is to the right of the pavilion on the basketball court. There is a small pavilion there for our use. The baby pool and wading area will be closed. 

Results - Times will be posted on the wall next to the men's restroom.

Volunteers - For this meet, we provide a Starter, 2 Stroke and Turn Judges, an assistant Clerk of Course (will be located by the diving well), an Assistant Head Timer, 9 Timers, an Automation Assistant, and one Ribbon Writer. Swimtopia does not send automated reminders for jobs, so please be sure to check and see if you have signed up for any of these positions. If your volunteer position includes a meeting before the meet, it is expected that you will attend. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
